It's OK to laugh or MOL but then it must be follow up by a sad sounding awwwww :(  Then giggle again and feel bad that you giggled, frown once more and say "awwww this is so sad". :(  Then giggle one more time, only one time allowed.

Down With Dorks! Help Stop Feline Oppression!

 Down with dorks! It's been a while since I posted on this blog, so I thought I would freshen it up with some new pictures of yours truly, Frankie McCranky. I check out the human staff's "Funny Cats" folder and this is what I find!

FELINE OPPRESSION!! Just look at what these dorks made these cats do for them, and then they chase us all around the house like if a red laser dot were on our tails!

 This must stop immediately and the tables should be turned.
I think it's about time the dorks give us a back rub instead of a drool puddle around the water bowl.

I'm to distraught to blog now, I have claws to go sharpen and a dork to find.  :)

p.s. I have always replaced the word "dog" with "dork", it just works out better this way.  Frankie

First Day of Summer

Everyday should be the first day of something.  First day of mouse catching, first day of marathon napping, the first day of laying in your favorite sunbeam!

Here's my buddy and accomplice #1, Chai. He jumped on the bed and took over the sunbeam from the dork.  Cats Rule!

Some cools cats passed this video along to me and it made me think... If a cat hand puppet could get over 3 million views then surely a REAL cat like yours truly could do even better! So I broke into the humans recording studio to flex the golden pipes!

Hey! There's a reason they call me Frankie, it's because I sing like Frank Sinatra :)

Anyway, the media got wind of the fact that I was recording. The paparazzi showed up and went wild!
I had to close the recording session to the public. I may have inadvertently roughed up a camera man or two while trying to kick them out. :)  (This is when it's handy to have a dork dog around to do your dirty work)

Oops, did you need that 1000 dollar camera lens?  Meowahahahaha  :)

The Two Sides of Frankie

Even in a single picture, you see how I can be soft, cute and cuddly... THEN you see the sun sparkle of my finely sharpened claw :)

I just know it's going to be one of those days where I will need the use of both my sides. wink*

Tiko - He will be missed by human and feline alike

Hello feline friends, choice humans and canine companions,

As you may know, I normally omit the word DOG for the word DORK but for this post, I shall be respectful to the canine species.  The animal kingdom and the humans lost a good dog this week when my buddy Tiko passed away.

Tiko was part of my life for over 10 years, all the way back to when we both were puppy and kitten.  We grew up together and I was able to teach him the fine art of being a dog in this cats household.

He learned to sniff out the treats that the humans would try and hide from us. He learned that playing with a cat is NOT in his scope of duties as I recall giving him a bloody nose for getting to playful.

I even attempted to show him how to look like nothing had happened when the humans came into the room to investigate a loud crash.  (Apparently, this is something only us cats can do properly)  He handled much of the dirty work around here and took the blame for many of the things that I did.

Even though he was a dog, I think we had a relationship of trust. I trusted him to warn me when trouble was coming and he trusted me to run away before trouble reached us.  LOL

I will miss this dog, as will the humans. Here is a tribute video that one of the humans put together.

101 Cats in Sweaters in 101 Seconds (with an Intro by Frankie)

Here's what I received from the humans as a christmas gift. A stupid laser pointer that I pretended to like for approximately 10 seconds. Maybe they got the hint to buy me a multilayer cat condo next time. One with a pool that's filled with catnip!

Buy hey, it's way better that what these 101 Cats received as gifts. SWEATERS!

I'm Back! Where's my coffee!

I'm back from attending the FFFWD -Feline Federation For World Dominance. We took part in planning additional steps to continue our facade that we're cute and cuddly all the time. I can't tell you humans what the next steps will be or I would have to eat you. I can tell you that you will find us adorable, affectionate and even loyal to our humans for only so much longer.

We do have the occasional frisky feline that whats to jump the gun on the take over process. Just consider those our primary tactical scouts for the FFFWD.

Now to provide you with some "cute" to bait you into feeding me and getting me my COFFEE!

  

We see things from a different perspective

It’s a known fact that we cats look at life from a different angle other than you humans; however, Chai the cat is in a class all to himself.  Who knows what his view is. At least he opened his eyes long enough to have a picture taken.

Your To Do List

Ok humans, here is your list of things to do today.
1.    Feed the felines.
2.    Pet the felines.
3.    Give the felines a treat.
4.    Call the humane society and have them come pick up the dorks.
5.    Never mind about getting rid of the dorks, Chai the Cat likes them and they do all of our dirty work.
6.    Last but not least. Sweep this floor! How am I suppose to look cute and adorable in my photos if there is dust and cobwebs all over the place.

Allie The Wonder Dork & Crashed Out Humans

Now that the humans have sent the offspring to college, I have more room to lounge around. I've taken over the offspring's bedroom and I find her bed a bit to soft for my liking. I will need to discuss this with the humans and have them correct this ASAP.

The video above is of the goofy dork they call Allie. I don't understand what would make an animal act so silly. At least when I act silly, I have a motive behind it. Such as getting them to bring out more treats!

Fyi - I'm silly only 15% of the time. The remaining time is split up as 75% grumpy and 10% DON'T MESS WITH ME!

So now with one of the humans gone, I don't have to tip-toe over the sugar buzzed out kids that are always crashed out in my living room.
